The Third Coast International Audio Festival has opened up voting for its first-ever people’s choice award for independent radio pieces based on a prompt provided by the festival. This year’s prompt was “Appetite,” and each entry is food-themed; voters choose from eight finalists. Voting will run through July 31, and the top five selections will be screened at October’s FilmLESS Festival in Chicago. Winners will also get a special dish inspired by their piece and crafted by a renowned chef. Vote at the Third Coast website.
