Those who dare to “Challenge America” with community art can apply for a grant.

The National Endowment for the Arts, for its “Challenge America Fast-Track” program, will present $10,000 grants to projects that “extend the reach of the arts to underserved populations.” Projects that support engagement and liveability will be favored, and submissions must fall into specific NEA-designated categories and must be able to find a matching grant. The deadline is May 23;  more info can be found on the “Challenge America” page.
