The next MEGS workshop for station-based public radio journalists will be held in St. Louis.

Though it was once known as Morning Edition Grad School, the MEGS news-workshop series, initially funded by NPR, has since expanded to encompass local news initiatives across all “critical drive time news magazines,” according to the program’s description on the Public Radio Program Directors website. St. Louis Public Radio will host the next all-day workshop Nov. 2. The event is limited to participants from eight stations, and there is still room to sign up. The cost is $500 for PRPD member stations and $1,000 for nonmembers.
