The grants support three formats: radio, interactive digital media, and film and television. NEH casts a wide net within those categories and also encourages projects that utilize multiple formats; its website is more specific about which types of projects are eligible. Interested parties can apply for development grants or production grants. The deadline is Jan. 9, 2013, for projects beginning in August 2013.
