Sessions during the conference will focus on the new technology-driven world of watchdog reporting, with tutorials on computer-assisted reporting and social media journalism. The conference, presented by the Brigham Young University Department of Communications in conjunction with the Utah Association of Latino Journalists, will take place March 15–16. Registration closes March 8. The cost is $55 for professional attendees and $25 for students, with added costs for optional workshops.
