The PRRO Award seeks to recognize a person who has made significant contributions to public media while furthering the interests of public radio’s regional organizations and stations. The nominations cast a wide net: The nominees may be station-based, at a network, affiliated with a related organization or simply a strong supporter of public radio. Anyone can submit a nomination to erpm@earthlink.net by the Oct. 5 deadline. The award will be presented at the PRRO Super-Regional meeting in New Orleans Nov. 13–14.
