The PBS documentary series, which is marking its first year of accepting online submissions, will extend the deadline for entries into its 2013–14 season to March 1, 2013. Producers are accepting completed or nearly completed entries and strongly encourage interested parties to submit as soon as possible, despite the extended deadline. The program, produced by the Independent Television Service, is moving to Monday nights on the PBS schedule Oct. 29 after a low-rated and much-maligned stint on Thursday nights.
