The University of Rhode Island’s Metcalf Institute for Marine and Environmental Reporting is accepting applications for its 15th annual science immersion workshop, geared toward helping journalists better understand the environmental impacts of climate change. The workshop will be held at the university’s graduate school for oceanography in Narragansett, R.I., June 9–14, 2013. Fellowship packages include room, board, tuition and some travel support for ten professional journalists from all media. The application deadline is Feb. 25, 2013.
