Enter a marathon of close-quarters creativity with the DC Global Game Jam.

Software coders, artists, musicians and designers will team up to design a new video game over two days. The Center for Media & Social Impact at American University’s School of Communication is organizing the event, which will take place Jan. 24–26 at the university’s Washington, D.C., campus.

Registration costs $22, is limited to the first 50 people and closes Jan. 10. Volunteering opportunities are also available. Current is published by the American University School of Communication.
