CINE’s fall 2013 Golden Eagle competition is now open to filmmakers.

The Council on International Nontheatrical Events, a nonprofit organization that supports independent filmmakers, is looking for completed works in a multitude of categories for its twice-annual awards competition. Deadline is Sept. 23. Films under 30 minutes require an admission fee of $75, while those longer than 30 minutes carry a $100 charge. In the spring 2013 competition, multiple pubTV films and series won awards, including American Experience and The Dust Bowl. More information about the competition can be found on CINE’s website.
