The session, entitled “Hearing Is Believing II: Making It Sing”, will teach attendees how to construct a six- to twelve-minute audio documentary from already-recorded sounds. It will be led by John Biewen, audio program director at the Center for Documentary Studies at the university in Durham, N.C. Students are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
