The Columbia Journalism School is interested in applicants who want to report on America’s educational system. Three fellows will be selected to spend an academic year at Columbia University, working with faculty members and devising an in-depth reporting project involving education research. Fellows will also receive a $75,000 stipend. Applications are due Jan. 31, and successful applicants will be notified by April 1. See the fellowship page for more information. The last public media journalist to be a Spencer Fellow was This American Life and NPR contributor Trey Kay in 2011–12.
