Appropriately called the AP-Google Journalism and Technology Scholarship, the program will give six undergraduate and graduate journalism students $20,000 each for the 2013–14 academic year. The money (half of which is contingent on maintaining at least a 3.0 grade point average) is intended to help the student create innovative projects combining journalism and technology. Winners will also receive a one-year membership in the Online News Association. Applications are due Feb. 8.
