How to place a classified ad in Current
1. Select a publication date. Current is usually published every other Monday, but there are exceptions. Consult our publication schedule for upcoming issues and deadlines. We must receive copy by 5 p.m. Eastern time on deadline day, one week before publication date.
2.Select a type of ad.
These are net prices. Ad agency discounts do not apply.
3. Prepare your ad.
Preparing regular classifieds. If possible, submit in an e-mail or a Microsoft Word-compatible attachment. (In a pinch, use fax, 301-270-7241.) Specify issue date(s) and give your phone number. If you need a precise word count to figure out your bill, ask us to call you with it. Ask for a proof if you'd like to check it.
Preparing boxed classifieds. The price is the same, whether you:
4. Order the ad. We need your signed insertion order before we run an ad. Download the PDF form and fax it back to us at 301-270-7241.

Your ad appears onllne for no extra charge
It will be posted on Current.org (at Current.org/jobs) on or shortly before publication date. Online ads are sold only with ads in the print edition. Your ad will remain online with others from the same print issue. Ads from the past edition will stay online but accessible through the link "Jobs from the previous issue of Current."
Give us you Visa, MasterCard or American Express information on the insertion order. Or, if the charge is $100 or more, we can send you a bill. State your purchase order number, if you have one.
Current mails invoices with tearsheets of your ad within a week after publishing a classified ad.
Payment is due within a month: net 30 days.
Please note: Invoices reflect net rates; agency discounts do not apply. We reserves the right to hold advertisers and/or their ad agencies liable for payments due.
Classified ads can be canceled without charge on or before the deadline dates. We reserve the right to bill for classified ads if they are canceled after the deadline.
