Amazon.com and PBS Distribution are expanding their licensing agreement, which will allow Amazon Prime members to stream hundreds of additional episodes of PBS programs including Nova, Masterpiece, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood and Dinosaur Train, as well as Ken Burns’s documentaries

The deal also includes exclusive streaming rights to the third season of Masterpiece‘s hit Edwardian drama Downton Abbey, which is “continually one of the most watched shows of all time on Prime Instant Video,” said Brad Beale, director of digital video content acquisition for Amazon.

“Giving viewers access to our library of past programs through digital platforms like Prime Instant Video complements our broadcast service and is an important part of our strategy to reach new audiences,” said Jason Seiken, g.m. of PBS Digital.
